On my way home to Palit from Cebu, I've been stranded in Surigao City last January 2020.

Since I'm getting bored so I save the moment being at the most famous tourist destination in the country while waiting for the coastguard announcement. I spent my three days waiting for the storm to stop.

First, I planned to visit Puntabilar to enjoy the beach filled with a pebble.

I woke up early in the morning to complete my planned itinerary, later then, I noticed on my way up to the lighthouse, I saw the new building which hasn't been there before, so I asked the tricycle driver to drop me off to explore and feed my curiosity.

As I'm walking thru the entrance it's obvious that the building is not yet finished but as I saw from a distance there are people roaming around and taking selfies.

So I asked the security guard if they are open for visitors and he said

"Yes po you are very welcome ma'am",

in a nice manner of speaking.

This monument is the first thing I saw with the mesmerizing view of the pacific ocean in the background.

After exploring the museum I went straight to the beach and enjoy the golden hour.

Try a different scenery of sunset, where you're surrounded by beautiful pebbles painted with the golden light of the sun.
